Russian groove metal band BAGIRA released their debut English-language EP, “From Russia with Groove”, on August 20, 2019. Two-song’s EP is the riff-based music with melodic guitar leads and solos as atmospheric inserts and Alla’s wide ranging voice that ranges from brutal screams to soulful clean singing to give interesting contrast to the heavy music.
Alla Bulgakova (BAGIRA’s vocalist): “We live in Russia, we play our music in Russia, we love our Russian listeners. But we wanna say powerful “Hello, World” with our new EP. It’s my Desperate Hymn. I took the piece of my soul and put it into these two songs. So… that’s what we do here, in Russia, and I hope – you’ll enjoy it”.
