Andover, UK post-metalcore act DREAMEATER share over the second single they’ve released for the year, the second installment of the story that the band had started to tell from their last release ‘I Play God’–this is ‘dontprayforme’, released via Famined Records and is now available worldwide through various music streaming platforms.
In this new single, Dreameater start to introduce new avenues to their sound, whilst keeping their showcase of heavy beatdown with nauseating, masterful riffs, accompanied with darker lyrical content.
“‘dontprayforme’ is definitely our most ambitious track yet as we really wanted to push our sound to places it had never been before and explore different influences such as rap. We took the idea from our producer Adam Cox to create something different that we had not heard before and continue to push ourselves to evolve and we made something we are all very proud of.” – Dreameater
